Terms & Conditions
Our Service Policies · Effective Date: February 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern all construction, renovation, and painting services provided by Profix Solution (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accepting a quote, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, the customer (“Client”) agrees to the following terms:
1. Scope of Work
Services will be performed as outlined in the written estimate, proposal, or invoice. Any work not expressly described in the written scope is excluded. Additional services requested by Client that are not included in the original estimate may result in additional charges and may extend the project timeline.
2. Estimates & Pricing
All quotes are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Pricing may be adjusted if:
- Hidden damage or defects are discovered once work begins (e.g., rot, water damage, mold, pest damage)
- Property dimensions or measurements differ from those stated
- Surfaces require additional preparation, repair, or treatment beyond what was visible at inspection
- Material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date
- Access limitations or site conditions require additional labor or equipment
Client approval will be obtained before additional charges are applied.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit may be required to schedule work and order materials, as stated in the estimate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due in full upon completion of services. Larger projects may be billed in progress payments tied to project milestones.
We accept cash, check, or electronic payment. Late payments may be subject to additional fees. Materials and installed work remain the property of Profix Solution until paid in full, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Change Orders
Any changes to the agreed scope of work, materials, colors, or finishes requested after work has begun must be documented in a written or electronic change order. Change orders may affect both the project price and the completion date.
5. Painting & Finishing Disclaimer
We prepare and coat surfaces according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Client acknowledges:
- Exact color matching to existing paint, stains, samples, or digital images cannot be guaranteed; sheen and color may vary by batch, surface, and lighting
- New paint may highlight pre-existing surface imperfections such as drywall seams, nail pops, or texture variations, which are not defects in workmanship
- Coatings applied over previously painted surfaces can only perform as well as the underlying layers; peeling or failure caused by pre-existing coatings, moisture intrusion, or substrate problems is not covered
- Natural materials such as wood may show grain, knots, and color variation that affect the final appearance of stains and finishes
6. Pre-Existing Conditions & Hidden Damage
Renovation and repair work may expose conditions that were not visible at the time of the estimate, including:
- Wood rot, water damage, or mold
- Structural deficiencies or prior improper construction
- Outdated, damaged, or non-code-compliant wiring or plumbing
- Pest damage
Profix Solution is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage resulting from them. If such conditions are discovered, we will notify Client and provide options and pricing for necessary corrective work before proceeding.
7. Materials & Workmanship
Materials will be of the type and quality described in the estimate. If a specified material becomes unavailable, we may substitute a material of equal or better quality with Client approval.
Manufacturer warranties on materials and products (paint, fixtures, flooring, etc.) are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will assist Client with manufacturer warranty claims where reasonably possible.
8. Client Responsibilities & Site Access
Client agrees to:
- Provide clear access to all work areas, including electrical outlets and water where needed
- Remove or secure furniture, valuables, fragile items, and wall hangings from work areas before work begins
- Keep children and pets away from work areas, tools, and materials during the project
- Notify us in advance of known hazards, delicate landscaping, or special site conditions
- Obtain any homeowners’ association approvals required for the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Profix Solution is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by restricted access or work areas that are not ready as scheduled.
9. Weather & Scheduling
Exterior work such as painting, staining, and coating is weather-dependent and may be postponed due to rain, humidity, temperature, or other unsafe conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule for safety and quality reasons. Project timelines are good-faith estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, change orders, and hidden conditions.
10. Limitation of Liability
Profix Solution’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services rendered.
We shall not be liable for:
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Pre-existing property damage or conditions
- Damage to items Client did not remove or secure from work areas
- Loss of use or inconvenience
11. Satisfaction & Workmanship Warranty
If Client is not satisfied, they must notify us within 48 hours of project completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address concerns.
We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship only; it does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by others, settling or movement of the structure, moisture intrusion, failure of pre-existing coatings or materials, or lack of maintenance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
